Electromagnetic fields based on bees’ cognitive abilities (2025) Beeswax aluminium and offset lithography, partially printed with beeswax and propolis-based pigments (47.5 x 63.5 cm), blocks of beeswax

Bees are some of the most important pollinators and are exposed to high levels of electromagnetic fields due to their foraging activities near power lines. Bees are more exposed to electromagnetic and sound waves than humans. This lithography series captures parts of the spectrum invisible to the human eye (sound, magnetic fields, UV light) by applying beeswax to offset and aluminium plates. Part of the series is printed with inks made from bee products (beeswax, propolis, pollen).
